Sumatran Dark - Dark Chocolate, Spice & Earthy
Taste: With moderate bitters due to dark roasting, this coffee is relatively less intense than our other darks, offering a good amount of bite without taking centre stage. As this is a dark roast, there is low sweetness and no acidity.
Aromas: Rich baking spices, dark chocolate and earthly loam
Body: Full, round and smooth

This coffee is produced by various smallholder farmers near Lake Tawar in Aceh, Sumatra. It comes from a remarkably successful cooperative of smallholders with a proven track record of improving economic opportunities for farmers through strong quality control and excellent management. The quality in the cup is distinct and flavourful, true to the reputation of Sumatran wet-hulled coffee.
